We work with trusted couriers to offer fast and reliable delivery across the UK.

  • Fully tracked

  • Parcels are delivered within 48 hours (to the UK mainland) 90% of the time, this is not always guaranteed and customers should expect their order within 1 to 5 working days.

🚚 DPD Local (Next-Day)

  • Order by 1pm (Mon–Fri) for next working day delivery.
    Deliveries to Highlands & Islands may take 2+ days.

  • Saturday delivery available (order by Friday 1pm,  only applicable to UK mainland - excludes Northern Ireland, Islands and Highlands)

  • 1-hour delivery window provided with GPS and photo proof of delivery

  • No safe-place deliveries allowed with DPD

Please note: Saturday deliveries will not automatically be changed to a next working day option if purchased after 1pm on Friday. If you would like your order to be delivered more urgently, please contact our customer service team who will be able to amend this.

We offer international delivery for selected items via Royal Mail to certain countries only.

PayPal accepted

If you have a PayPal account, simply choose this payment option from the options in the checkout. Your PayPal account can be funded from an existing PayPal balance or from a card or bank account linked to your PayPal account.

 

Credit or debit card

We accept Visa, Mastercard, and Maestro cards for purchases. Simply follow through the checkout procedure and select 'Credit Card' as the method of payment. Our system features advanced 3D security processes to ensure safe, verified payments.

We’re committed to providing high-quality products, but we understand you may need to return or exchange something. Please check items carefully before opening, using, or installing them.

Should you need to return your product for any reason, you must provide proof of purchase such as your order ID or purchase receipt. 

If your item has arrived with items missing, damaged or broken, please contact us immediately via our contact form and do not use your product as this will invalidate your warranty. This means we will not be able to issue you with a refund, replacement or repair. 

Please do not return goods to us without first acquiring an RMA number. Any goods without an RMA number will be returned to the sender without inspection.

We apologise but our warehouse cannot accept hand-delivered returns. Please use our contact form and follow the standard returns process.

If you change your mind

We are happy to accept product returns for up to 30 days after delivery. To be eligible for this, products must be in: new/ unused/ unopened condition/ in original packaging.

Your refund will be issued within 21 working days. Posting your item back to us will need to be funded by yourself, we will not issue reimbursement for this.  

Faulty products, warranty repairs & replacements

The majority of items bought from RC Geeks include a 12 month manufacturers warranty that begins from the day you take ownership of the goods. This excludes perishable goods such as batteries, accessories and all pre-owned models. The manufacturer's warranty covers any malfunctions or faults that may develop. It does not cover accidental damage such as crash, water damage or lack of maintenance. We work closely with our network of manufacturers to carry out the warranty process as efficiently as possible. Please note that we will always try to repair faulty items before replacing them if 30 days have passed since you received the goods.

If you believe your item has developed a fault, please use the contact form to get in touch. Once returned, we will require up to 21 working days to fully test and potentially repair the product. If the item is unrepairable and still under warranty, we will arrange a replacement for you. 

Accidental damage and poor maintenance

Many of our products are hobby grade and we do not recommend children use them unsupervised. They are powerful products and if they come into contact with objects at fast speeds or at an unfortunate angle, they will become damaged. This damage is not covered under the manufacturer's warranty. 

Many products also require in depth and regular maintenance in order to keep them functioning at their best. We recommend you always read the entirety of the manual to ensure you fully understand your product. If the correct maintenance is not carried out, this can cause irreparable damage to your product and this damage will not be covered under the warranty.  

Modifications and alterations

Please be aware that alterations made to a product from its original sale condition may invalidate your warranty. Modifications made to products and any faults that may occur as a result are the sole responsibility of the user.

What is covered and for how long? 

  • Manufacturing faults with the electronics such as motors, ESCs, receivers, transmitters, chargers are covered for 12 months. 
  • Most batteries are covered for 6 months. 

What isn't covered? 

  • Water damage
  • Impact/crash damage of any kind
  • User damage through carelessness and poor maintenance 
  • Non electronic parts such as drive shafts, gearing, tyres, body shells etc.
  • Accessories (charge cables, stickers, storage bags etc.) 

When does the warranty start?

The warranty automatically begins as soon as the item is delivered.

If I return a product for a warranty repair, does the warranty restart when I get the product back? 

No. Sadly it does not.

The first questions to ask yourself are: Who is the car for? How old are they? Have they had any previous experience with hobby grade RC cars before? What’s my budget? Where will they be using it (indoor, on road or off road)?

The RCG Racing Wind Speed and Storm Rider are two of our most popular models to date.
 
Great for kids age 8+, they are an excellent entrance model into remote control car hobby.

 As with all remote control cars, it's inevitable that parts will be damaged and need replacing from time to time and these models are sadly no exception. 

However, they are thankfully designed to be completely taken apart and put back together again. Our engineer has put together an in depth, step by step guide on how to repair these.

Please note: These steps are to be taken as a guide only. RC Geeks can not accept responsibility for damage done to the vehicle or parts.

What does mAh mean?
It stands for milliamp-hours – the battery’s capacity. The higher the mAh, the longer the run time.

What affects run time?
Run time depends on terrain, driving style, and conditions.
Example:

  • Flat tarmac = ~35 mins

  • Off-road = ~20–25 mins
    This is normal and doesn’t mean the battery is faulty.

What does battery voltage mean?
Voltage = power. Higher voltage means faster performance. Always check your model’s voltage compatibility before buying.

What settings do I use to charge?
Use a smart charger and follow these rules:

  1. Select battery type (LiPo, NiMH, etc.)

  2. Set the correct voltage (don’t exceed it)

  3. Set the amp rate to match the battery’s mAh (e.g. 5000mAh = 5A max)

How long does charging take?
Divide battery mAh by charger amps:

  • 5000mAh Ă· 5A = 1 hour

  • 5000mAh Ă· 3A = 1.67 hours
    Never charge above your battery’s rated capacity.

Why isn’t my battery lasting long?
This varies with use. Rough terrain, cold temps, or aggressive driving all reduce run time. Two identical batteries may perform differently — this is normal.

What’s the battery warranty?
All batteries include a 6-month manufacturer’s warranty (covers defects only). Misuse or improper storage voids the warranty.

Yes you can!

With all of our hobby grade rc models, you will be able to run more than one at a time without needing to worry about interference and changing the frequency.

You can also run more than one RCG Racing Wind Speed and RCG Racing Storm Rider at one time.

There are a few exceptions when it comes to our toy grade cars. There are a few models where you cannot run more than one sadly. These are selected RCG Racing models only.
